NUMA was founded by lifelong athletes and close friends, Jordan Chabinsky and Dan Fogarty, who experienced firsthand the transformative benefits of contrast therapy.

The idea for NUMA was born one Sunday afternoon during our ‘Sauna Sunday’ contrast therapy ritual at Dan’s home in Hollis, NH. Every week, our group of friends gathers to enjoy some much-needed recovery time. Between rounds of hot and cold therapy, we catch up, reflect on the week, and share future plans. It was through these moments of camaraderie that NUMA was conceived, and it’s this same sense of community and connection we hope to inspire in our Members.

At NUMA, we aim to address a common challenge many athletes and fitness enthusiasts face—a lack of focus on recovery. By offering easy access to contrast therapy and state-of-the-art recovery tools, we’re excited to shift the mindset around recovery, making it a priority for peak performance and overall well-being.
